Rebranding: Erin Rochon Design

When Erin Rochon came to us at Danger Co for a rebrand, we were 100% on board.

Erin Rochon is an interior designer who started a modest upcycling and furniture painting business in 2017. We met then and became her business coach and go-to marketing firm.

It’s been thrilling to watch Erin grow. Her shop, called Bluebird Upcycle, grew from a pop up shop in a makerspace warehouse, to a full shopfront and workshop space in Ottawa’s hipster central. As her work grew, so did her reputation. Her DIY blogs turned into writing opportunities for major home magazines and brands; her appearances on cable TV became regular paid guest spots and eventually, into a show of her own called The Thrifty Upcycler.

In 2021, we had a strategy session with Erin and determined that Erin’s content creation work was demanding and profitable, and that it was time to close the paint shop. Erin took this leap and rebranded herself as Erin Rochon Design.

We’ve worked with Erin for the last six months to make this transition, and it’s so exciting to see her new site live, and her new brand and look on everything.

Congrats, Erin! We’re so proud to be a part of your journey. Here’s a video showing the before, the journey, and the after.
